Planning software
for transport

Planning is not just drawing routes. It means deciding every morning which vehicle takes which orders, in which order and under which constraints. Travia makes that decision computable, then measurable.

The constraints of the trade

What weighs on every day

01

The plan is rebuilt every day

Orders change, and so do the available vehicles. Dispatch puts the puzzle together by hand, often in a spreadsheet, under the pressure of departure time.

How Travia handles them

A computed plan, not a copied one

The day’s orders, vehicles and constraints go in together. The plan is computed, then adjusted by hand wherever dispatch decides.

02

Constraints live in people’s heads

Which customer accepts nothing before 9 am, which driver knows which site: these rules exist, but rarely in a system.

How Travia handles them

Rules become parameters

Time windows, capacities, qualifications, priorities and depots are configured once from your real rules and reused every day.

03

Plan and reality drift apart

Once the trucks are on the road, nobody knows exactly what the plan cost or where it departed from reality.

How Travia handles them

Planned versus actual

The driver app and round tracking bring reality into the same tool. Deviations are visible stop by stop.

04

The tools do not talk to each other

ERP, TMS, telematics and files sit side by side. Changing tools for planning would mean replacing everything.

How Travia handles them

A layer on top of what exists

Travia takes orders from your ERP or TMS, returns the rounds and can use existing telematics data.

What you measure

The real-day test

Kilometres
Total distance of the rebuilt day, compared with the day actually driven.
Planning time
Time dispatch spent building the plan, against calculation and approval time.
Vehicle utilisation
Payload and time in use of each vehicle, round by round.
Round quality
Windows met, constraints respected, trade-offs still made by hand.
Sector questions

Before you send us a day

Is Travia a TMS?

No. A TMS manages the administrative and document flow of transport. Travia focuses on operational round optimisation, execution and measuring the gap between plan and reality. The two complement each other.

Can we start with a simple order file?

Yes. A spreadsheet with addresses, quantities and time windows is the most common starting point for testing a real day. System integration comes afterwards.

How long does deployment take?

About a month: analysis of the operation, configuration of the rules, tests with real data, then training and roll-out. The steps are described on the home page.

What if we tested Travia
on a real day?

Send us your current rounds. We reproduce your constraints and compare the results with your current organisation.
